These are examples of some my work from different modules whilst studying at Arden University. I enjoy time consuming work creating my own patterns to use as backgrounds by cutting strips out of magazines and layering them.

I like to weave the North East into my work e.g. the top image 4 iconic buildings in Sunderland. The Stadium of Light, The Glass Centre, Roker Lighthouse and Monkwearmouth Bridge. I then used a family members Sunderland shirt and layered the bridge onto as this was the bridge that the fans would walk over to get to the match. In a different early module, I had to complete a design manifesto which I still stand by these values today.

I also had to complete illustrations of myself in different way in another module. The image included above was the realistic version, this was time consuming to complete as I used a photo as a base and used the brush tool on photoshop and built up the layers by hand but I was pleased with the result.
